In Stockholm N.E.R.D have been on people's lips long before their album "In Search of...." was even released. Some people praised it, some didn't like it. Some wondered whether hiphop should really sound like this.
The production duo the Neptunes has artists like Jay-Z, Kelis and Ol'Dirty Bastard in their portfolio. This time Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo brought their pal Shay and became N.E.R.D. Together they search for love and happiness, and tell you the story of their lives.
On their own album soul meets rock and bounds hand in hand of to some curious fairy tale. They go from hiphop to some 80's rock to where Prince once have been. And I do like the story.
